5 Mysterious Ships

The waves calmly coursing along the sides ..The breadth of the sea  wind  gently stroking the face ....  The  ship slowly moving towards the picturesque sunset with the vast expanse of ocean ahead of it ..... These are the images which comes to one's mind when we think of  a cruise journey ..( Along with Titanic )
 The journey on a ship is quite pleasant (unless if you're seasick and you throw up every few minutes ,then it feels like hell). However what happens when something unexpected comes up (not an iceberg , Titanic Fans ) . Be it bad weather  or haunting or strange disappearances here I look at 5 of the most mysterious ships ever found on earth.

5:- Mary Celeste

 

Possibly one of the first disappearances of the famous Bermuda Triangle .The Mary Celeste has quite a unique tale . On 4^th December, 1872 this ship was found stranded at sea with its crew mysteriously vanished . The entire provisions including the alcohol and personal belongings of its crew were found untouched . The ship carried 6 months of virtually untouched food and water  . This was surprising  as the ship had been at sea for just one month . Various conspiracy theories have been stated with sea monsters and aliens predominating them .Today ,the fate of the Mary Celeste's crew remains one of history's most famous and puzzling maritime mysteries. 

So I get it . Since nobody could quite explain the disappearance ... People blamed the aliens and the famous Bermuda Triangle came into existence ...Good Job everyone ....Now let's create one at the spot where MH 370  vanished ...

4:-Baychimo

    

The Baychimo was used to trade pelts for provisions in the Inuit settlements of Canada , so it was no stranger to icy  conditions . This 230-foot cargo steamer had just been freed from a pack of ice a week earlier when it got stuck even worse on 8 October 1931 leading to most of its crew abandoning it with 15 of the crew remaining . They decided to wait out the winter nearby in a wooden shelter that they built themselves.

A blizzard stuck on November 24 and the ship vanished .The remaining crew assumed it to be sunk so imagine their surprise when they found this ship 3 days later ,45 miles away from the spot. They took their belongings  and abandoned it thinking it would not last the winter.

Surprisingly  the ship was found floating 3 years later by the same crew  when they were on a journey to Canada .

Some of them took charge of it and decided to return to Sweden . However the crew vanished along with the ship.

The ship was then found 1 year later quite intact adrift at sea with no sign of its crew.

In-fact many  reported sightings of this ship was seen for the next 3 decades . The last supposed sighting was in Alaska in 1969 after which this ship supposedly vanished into thin air ...

  In 2006, the Alaskan Government began an operation to locate the ‘The Ghost ship of the Arctic’ but, to date, they have been unsuccessful.

Is this ship sunk or still floating ..

Maybe it will  show off another of its reported sighting this year..'

If only the manufacturer's of Titanic had used the same material to make it  we would not have that quite emotional romantic Titanic movie ...which won plenty of Oscars except the best actor one (Poor Leonardo)

3:-Lady Lovibond

 

 The ultimate bridal present which turned out to be quite deadly for a lot of people leaving a massive haunting .

 On 13 February 1748 Simon Reed took his new bride Annette aboard his ship ,the Lady Lovibond for a cruise of Portugal . His first mate John Rivers , was madly in love with Reed's wife .Overcome with jealously ,he  took the wheel at night and steered the ship towards the Goodwin Sands . All souls were lost.

50 years to the day ,2 separate ships witnessed a phantom ship sailing the Goodwin Sands .. On 13 February 1848 locals saw a ship wreck on the area .When they went to investigate the ship had disappeared .

  In 1948 the ship was seen by Captain Bull Prestwick who described it as having an eerie glow .The ship was again spotted in 1998 by some locals . The ghost ship of LAdy Lovigood makes it journey every 50 years so the next one would be on 13 February  2048.

Why every 50 years ??

Did Reed marry at the age of 50 ?? Or was his first mate 50 years old ??

The ship will definitely appear but its about time somebody asked the ship or its occupants 

  Why a time gap of 50 years ???

2:-Ourang Medan

 

In June 1947 frantic Morse Code messages were received from Ourang Medan. The messages stated

" All officers are dead .Possibly whole crew dead ."

 The second and last message read 

" I die "

 Promptly many ships hurried to the location of Ourang Medan . After several hours the SIlver Star reached on scene . A small team from Silver Star boarded the ship and found quite a disturbing scene . 

 On the bridge where a radio was playing they found many dead corpses of officers and the captain of the ship . Along with this was a dog standing on all four legs ,frozen and snarling into thin air. All of these bodies seemed frozen in place looking upwards ,their arms outstretched , mouths gaping and a look of immense horror on all their faces .

 A trip to the communications room revealed the author of the SOS messages , also dead,his hand still on the keys ,eyes wide open and teeth bared . There was no sign of wound or injuries on the body.

Before the team could explore any further an explosion ripped the ship necessitating them to abandon it .Within minutes the Ourang Medan sank to the depths of the ocean  . 

The mystery regarding the deaths of the crew of Ourang Medan still remains with many claiming they were carrying an unknown object  with ghosts and aliens coming frequently into the discussions.

Well aliens or whatever did all this conveniently  allowed the Morse codes to be sent ...allowed the Silver Star ship team to embark the ship and see the bodies before blowing it up ..

Couldn't they just blow up the ship when they killed the rest ??? 

Or was this a demonstration from that thing/aliens about what it could do ??

1:- The Flying Dutchman

 

 Yes ,Yes ,Yes .Let it sink in for a moment .

The Flying Dutchman !!!! The ship made famous by The Pirate of The Caribbean movie franchise is infact a real ship.

The story goes, a Dutch East India Company ship, while rounding the treacherous Cape of Good Hope encountered a severe storm . Rather than heading for a safe harbor the Captain Van Der Decken swore he would maintain his heading till Judgement Day .

The ship vanished into the storm never to seen again or was it?

Many have claimed to see the Flying Dutchman including future King George V of England who saw it off the coast of Australia in 1881 and his brother Price Albert Victor of Wales. In 1939 this ship was seen at Muinzenberg  . In 1941 a crowd at Glencairn Beach saw a ship with wind -filled sails which vanished as it was about to crash onto the rocks .

 The seeing of The Flying Dutchman is seen to be a bad omen among sailors with misfortune striking those that witness it firsthand. So on a cruise just watch out or you may see it and suffer the misfortune that follows it.

Does the Captain of the ship have a tentacly- face like in the movie .. So if you see the ship just try to see the face of the Captain and inform us !!!

 All these ships have a certain mystique around them .Except the Ourang Medan , the rest are still there floating in the uncharted waters so beware when you travel  by sea you may see one of them...

Many claim these to just be stories .They might be right or wrong its difficult to judge but always remember anything is possible in a world as mysteriously strange as ours.

Mysterious Creatures of the World

Loch-ness .... Big-foot .... Yeti  ....
 What is common in all of these ??
The human mind!!!

All these are said to be creatures which have been seen by humans throughout the course of our history .  Some even provide photographic evidence of their existence . Inspite of this the scientific community continues to deny thier existence  . Our biggest shortcoming  lie in the fact that we believe  science has progressed so much that it carries answers to all of the mysteries of the earth . 
 We often look for rational answers   to everything but the problem is that sometimes we should have the humility to accept that there are things beyond the control of mankind .

Here I look at 5 mysterious and in some cases mythical  creatures which really do exist in this world.

5:- Mothman

 

 

 On November 12 1966 five men were digging a grave at a cemetery  when they claimed that a man-like figure flew low from the trees over their heads.
  During the next few days various sightings of the mothman was seen with many describing him as 7 feet tall with large wings and red eyes .
 These sightings were normally seen near the Silver bridge area for a year which surprisingly collapsed on 15 December .
After this the sightings gradually faded leading to a legend with scientists found easy to reject . 
However the sparse sightings of the mothman can still be seen with the above picture being taken in 2003 during one such sighting.
 The mothman is believed to be an alien by some people while scientists ridicule such suggestions by saying it was nothing more than an owl with red eyes !!!
 I guess I'll let you decide.


 Batman enthusiasts !!! This is your proof..
The Batman really exists and blows up bridges !!!!!!.....OH ... I guess he's got so bored that he's doing the Joker's work for him...

4:-Morning Visitor

 Filmed in South Queensland ,Australia by two researchers Jason Heal and Jason Dunn this creature is now being famously referred to as the morning visitor. The men set-up a camera and used a bag of apples as bait to lure the creature . The resulting image shows what appears to be a large ape like animal with glowing eyes as feasting on the apples behind the bushes .

Poor creature .Must have been really hungry and now its secret is revealed ... Leave it to the humans  to spoil everything.

3:-Mermaid

This amateur video taken in Kiryat Yam ,Isreal in 2013 shows what appears to be a seal like creature sitting on a rock . The two hikers who took this video are seen to be discussing about the creature thinking it to be a seal .

 Their surprise and shock is relevant when they realise that they are mistken.The creature quickly  disappears  into the sea leaving both the hikers and us as well in a bit of a dilemma .

 What is that thing???

Well many researches have been done on this video with many claiming it to be a mermaid . You decide.

The ocean is quite a mysterious place which humans haven't explored properly so there might be some truth ....But

SERIOUSLY MERMAIDS ..You'll be saying that there are Dragons  in the world also ..

2:- Dragon

 

I had to say this before . Before you dismiss this thought as being completely crazy (which it is ) I suggest you see this video .

 IF you saw the video I apologise for the language used .

  This video , shot in Truro , England shows what is allegedly said to be a dragon leaving many scientists bewildered at the discovery.. 
The mystery has confounded the scientific world with no one able to clearly explain the creature in the video . Dragon or not this creature is indeed a mysterious one

The guy speaking in the video clearly sums up my feeling on this topic. So the next time you enjoy a dragon roasting somebody in Game of Thrones remember it might come for you someday...

 

  1:- Angel 

CCTV's are installed to have a better surveillance over an area .  What this mall owner in Cilanak Town Square in South Jakarta  didn't know that this cctv would in fact capture an.....angel???

   If you look at the video you see a winged creature appear for a few seconds ,touch the ground and then fly away .People are seen running towards the spot a few moments later  . So was it an angel or not ??

This questions has not been answered till now and the above video was taken on 11 September 2011.

 What's left now  ..Is Godzilla real as well...

All these creatures have been seen and in some cases captured on video as well .  Many of these are supposed to be mythical creatures but I believe that there is always a strand of truth in any myth . These creatures may exist or not but always remember that anything is possible in a world as mysteriously strange  as ours.

Since there are many more entries into this particular list I'll be writing about them in the coming future ....  

 

 

5 Cases of Time Travel

    Time is something which waits for no one . For hundreds of years humans have tried to travel through time. Till this day scientists are  working countless hours to achieve a breakthrough in the science of time travelling with no success whatsoever,or is this what they want us to believe in!!!

Throughout the course of human history there have been various instances which may prove that time travel is possible .   However all these cases have been riddled with conspiracies with theories and counter theories widely prevalent in each case . 

Here I look at 5 cases of time travel which have left many bewildered with their mystery .

5:- The Time Travelling Hipster

 

 

  This photo clicked in 1941 clearly shows what many believe to be a time traveller . Wearing what can be described as modern clothing  and shades this photo was taken during the reopening of South Fork bridge in Gold Bridge,British Columbia . Ever since this photo came into the public there has been various claims and counter-claims on the time travelling aspect of it  . Many say that the man is seen holding what may be described as a modern camera thus proving him to be a time traveller.
  Scientists are still divided on this aspect with some questioning the authenticity of the photograph . Others give various theories explaining the reason for the man's appearance . The question still remains 

Is this man a time- traveller or not ???

I'll leave it to you to decide ..



Off all the things, he time-travelled all these years just to visit the re-opening of a bridge ...must be quite attached to it...

 4:-Moberly-Jourdain Incident 

 

   One of the earliest cases of what can be described as a time slip. This event allegedly occurred on 10 August 1901 in the gardens of Petit Trianon ,involving two academicians Charlotte Anne Moberly and Eleanor Jourdain.  While roaming around the gardens and searching for Petit Trianon they got lost . While they wandered around their spirits suddenly felt oppressed . They saw two men wearing strange attire coming towards them . These men directed them across a bridge where they saw a woman sitting and sketching.

       Both of them looked at the lady and continued on their way out of the gardens . While exiting the gate they saw a mob marching towards the same bridge where the lady sat skecthing.

 On reaching England they immediately started reading  about France as they felt uncomfortable about their weird experience in Petit Trianon . It was then that Moberly realised that the lady she had seen sketching was none other than Marie Antoinette who had been sketching when she had learned of a mob marching towards Versailles.

  The two ladies had somehow managed to slip back in time to the French revolution. 

 Here is a photograph of Petit Trianon  . So if you want to experience a time slip go to this place and get lost in its gardens . Though you must pray that the mob doesn't catch you and hang you  .... That would be quite awkward...

 3:-The Pilot Who Entered A Parallel Dimension

 

  Does anybody remember good old Freddy Jackson from Goddard's Regiment who came back to have a photo with his regiment after he had died 2 days before .

 Well it seems that mysterious things happen if you belong to   this regiment . After that famous photo of Freddy Jackson's ghost it appears that the wing commander of the regiment , Sir Victor Goddard  experienced what many say is a shift to a parallel dimension.

   On weekend leave Goddard proceeded towards England from Scotland . On the way he passed over Drem Airfield Near Edinburgh . This airfield constructed during World War 1 was in a decrepit  state . The airfield had turned into a grazing ground for cattle with its four hangars in disrepair. 

  Returning back a day later  , Goddard ran into a violent storm and lost control of his plane . His plane went into a sharp nose-dive which would have killed  him . He somehow recovered his control and proceeded to climb back up again .

 Suddenly the sky was filled with skylight and he saw Drem Airfield below only a different from before. The hangars had been repaired and the farm with the grazing cattle  had disappeared . At the end of the restored tarmac stood four bright yellow planes, one an unfamiliar monoplane. These were surrounded by mechanics in blue overalls, notable to Goddard since RAF mechanics only ever wore brown . A notable thing is that a decade later the RAF started painting their planes yellow and changed their mechanic suits to blue .

So what really happened ????

My guess is as good as yours ..

First Freddy then Victor from Goddard's regiment .I guess belonging to this regiment would have been quite a scare with such things happening .

2:- Hakan Nordkvist Met His Future Self

Now to a quite recent one . 

 On August 30 ,2006 , 36 year old Hakan Nordkvist came home to find water pooling on his kitchen floor . Assuming it was a leak he brought his tools and crawled under the sink  . However he was surprised to see it continued on and on and on.  It continued like a tunnel and when he reached the end he came face to face with his 72 year old self in the year 2042 .

  What happened next can be seen in the video above.

 So if you reach home and find water in the kitchen then check the sink it might be a straight path to your future.

  I wonder if Hakan Nordkvist is a betting man .... He might have bet the Germany-Brazil World Cup semifinal  and won quite a sum of money ...

1:- 1928 Cell Phone User

 

 In the premier of Charlie Chaplin's "The Circus" at Los Angeles Grauman's  Chinese Theatre  in 1928 there appears what many say to be one of the most conclusive proofs of time travel.

 At one point a lady is seen walking holding up an object to the ear . The intriguing thing is that the lady is seen to be laughing and talking into the device . On closer examination she is seen talking into a thin black device which looks like a cell phone .  Various theories have been given  as to what the lady is holding though none appear to be more conclusive than a cell phone . This provides proof of time travel as the first portable device for communication came only after  the 1940's . 

 If the lady was talking on the phone then who was she talking to ...... I guess that's the question we should look into ... How many persons  were there in 1928 having cell phones.

 All these instances have not been scientifically proven or unproven . Till the time we get a conclusive answer to them time travel may be the subject which intrigues us with its mysteries .

 Always remember that anything is possible in a world as mysterious as ours.
